Ran on the treadmill with my friend again. It felt better, though, so I kept increasing my pace. I like that aspect about the treadmill - something is forcing me to go faster and not get lazy or stuck in a rut.
Cool! Is this your new treadmill? Glad you like it. There are so many treadmill haters--we could start our own treadmill-haters-anonymous with just the people on the blog.
About yesterday's entry.... There is a fabulous video by Ryan Hall that says it better than I ever could. Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MkdUckaEY0
He's got such a great attitude about running. Some people seem to like running because they to feel better than/faster than someone else. Blech. Not everyone feels that way, and I don't think that it is the best attitude for progressing at running, or anything else for that matter... I'm so proud of you. I never would have believed that you would one day be a big ol' runner!
No, it's not our treadmill - we still haven't bought one. It's one at my friends apartment complex rec center. She's kind enough to let me exercise with her. :)
