Quite a cold morning - 50 degrees at 9:30. Whoosh! Hello, autumn! The first half was a little sluggish. My feet had a hard time getting off the ground. The last half was much better. The only bummer about having to go so short a distance while I'm getting my body used to exercise is that by the time I'm finally warmed up, I'm almost done. Ha!

I'll call your 50 degrees for our 86 degrees, and raise you a couple hills . . .

even though you might not think so, 50 degrees is just about the ideal temperature to run in. Keep up the good work and stay patient - before you know it you will be able to put in a coupe miles a day and loving it . . .

Ya, I know. Sasha always writes that it takes 2 or 3 (or 8!) miles to really get going, and I am thinking "Hmm, if I ran another hour or so, would I suddendly be running 6 min. miles?" More likely I would suddenly find an ambulance trailing me expectantly. Just kidding.

Sounds like you need to add a little bit. Take walking breaks, but try to cover more distance if the time allows.
