On the treadmill late at night.  I spent the morning packing and cleaning my friends house.  She's the one whose daughter was just diagnosed with diabetes; and her parents are going overseas to serve a mission (left today) and so they are moving into their house.  Awful timing, huh!  So, a wonderful, organized, phenomenal woman mobilized a ward ARMY of to pack, clean, load, unload, clean, unpack, etc. for this sweet sister who is going through too much in such a short time.  It was amazing to be part of such an army for good - an army of service.  It was like experiencing a New Era story firsthand!  Of course, it was exhausting as well.  But I look back on it as a really wonderful opportunity.  It's not very often that I get to witness the amazing good that sweet people who are willing to serve with love can do.

You served valiantly in the army of service and still managed to run?! You are one amazing woman.

Well, that's sweet. And what a worker you are! I still remember how hard you worked when you helped us put in our pavers. You laid like 80% of them, and all those big ol' guys were walking gingerly like it had been too hard. You're a 5 foot dynamo!
