I've been sick most of this week with the flu.  I probably pushed it a little early going out this morning, but I had a running partner, so ... heck!  We took a more difficult trail but kept it slow.  It was nice to be out, but I went to an eye appt right after our run and when the doctor asked me which lens looked more clear, I seriously wanted to say, "Who cares; I just want to sleep right here. Right now."  Haha.  I was so grateful for a nap later in the day!

Yuck - the flu. I hope you're feeling better. And I'm glad you got your nap. I'm always glad when you get out for a run.

I'm thinking that after my marathon I may do halfs for the rest of the year. There's the Georgetown half in August, and that American Discovery Trail one - is it in September? And then Highlands Ranch has one sometime in the fall, I'm not sure when. Do you want to pick one to train for and do it with me?

Sorry, Carolyn. Sometimes I just forget to blog my runs. :) I've actually run twice this week and I plan to run today too. The weather IS gorgeous!
