Five on the treadmill.  The funniest thing happened:  I was watching the BYU version of Pride and Prejudice and I actually FORGOT that I was running!  Crazy, huh?  I thought it might be too slow; I usually try to watch action movies while I run.  But, for whatever reason, this one worked for me tonight.  I actually felt like I could've run further, but it's already pretty late and I'm tired of burning the midnight oil night after night.

Good for you! I don't do well on the treadmill at all, though I have experienced that sense of forgetting and it's wonderful when it happens. Have a great week. Your picture is beautiful, btw.

That's great that you were able to forget that you were running! You must have been really relaxed. That's probably why you felt like you could've run further. Great job!

Well, I also set it at a very slow, relaxed pace (11:00) until the last half mile which was 9:30 - so that makes it easy to forget. ;)

Thanks, Snoqualmie, for the comment on our family picture. It's funny what a nightmare it was just trying to GET it! Pictures are funny that way. You get a snapshot of everyone pseudo-smiling, and no one is even aware of the screaming, crying, and running away that happened before and after. haha!

Do you have a hard time going to sleep if you exercise at night? I've read various places that that can happen, but I've never really tried it.

Actually, I don't have a hard time sleeping after running in the eveing. I usually have to shower afterwards and read scriptures, so that gives me enough time to fully relax (plus, I usually waste time finishing the movie that I started to watch while running. Ha!) I do prefer morning runs, but it hasn't worked out lately - or I haven't MADE it work out.
