Bitter cold today!!! It was 14 degrees with wind. I dressed just right for my body, but my poor face froze! I had debated for a long time whether I should wear my ski mask - and I probably should have.

Anyway - still slow until the very end where I felt a burst of energy.. don't know where it came from.

Sheesh, I can't write much cuz I have one child climbing on me and the rest of the family beginning to deteriorate with lack of food! ;o)

Thanks for your post. Yes, Jody and I are sisters (she's older). MarcieJ is our sister-in-law. The blog has been a fun way to keep in touch.

You are a real trooper to go out and run in that kind of weather. I too have often thought about purchasing a ski mask, but haven't yet.

Have a nice weekend - try to stay warm!

Thanks for your support, everyone! I feel somewhat wimpy, though. I went out one day in the cold, but wimped out the next day. When we woke up yesterday, the thermostat said it was -14 (that's NEGATIVE 14!) Yuck! I'm not sure I've ever been in that cold of weather! I think when my husband gets paid for all his crazy hours in December, it's time to just go get the beginners treadmill that I've been eyeing at Sams Club.
