I ran 2 miles in 20 minutes today. I felt really good the whole time. I wanted to run at least one more and at mile 2 I ran by the house and told my husband to call the dog but she kept following me, so I stopped at the top of my street and came home. My dog has been limping for a couple months now. She has had a hard time keeping up with me on my last two runs, so I took her to the vet right after my run Saterday. It cost me $138 to find out she has ripped her acl out and will need surgery. She is 4 yrs 9 mths and healthy $2500.00 to fix her leg or to put her down. I spent the rest of my day doing yard work trying to think of how we were supose to make that choice. My husband is ready to pay for the surgery. |
