Biked this moring pulling the kids while my wife ran.  Started at the capital and headed for the zoo via the U of U.  If any of you have run this way, you would know that this is not a easy run.  I love running this route and taking on the hills.  But Pulling a bike trailer was tuff.  I have two kids, Natalie about 35 lbs and Loren 25 lbs.  Now add on the about 10 -15 lb for the trailer it self. Have you ever tryed to pull 80 lbs up a steep hill?  Not much fun, my quads killed.  This is one of the best work outs my quads have had in months.

Once we hit the 'U' I made a little detour to Foothill Blvd to find a gas station to get a treat for the kids.  They have been so good riding in the trailer even after finding out the batties on the DVD player were dead.  Met back up with Laurie by the post office on Sunnyside just before the Zoo.  The ride back was much easier than the trip out.  Yes there was still some good sized hills to climb but nothing like the ride out.  In the end I did 22 mles with all my looping back to stay with Laurie.  When I got back to the capital I stoped to take to the kids and they didn't relpy.  I didn't know riding in a bike trailer could be so tiring.

I have found a Century that I want to do.  It is the end of Sept. and starts in Heber.
