I started running in the fall of 2007. I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.
Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014. My favorite PRs: 2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22. 2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15
Short-Term Running Goals:
Long-Term Running Goals:
Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.
Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!
On running and on life.....
On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

Going to St. George? Bag the hotel and stay in one of our condos instead!
I just thought I'd give an update on the doctor visit. It's looking like tendonitis and not a stress fracture. That is good news. He told me to hold off on the running for another week and then start in really easy. If it continues to hurt at that time I need to go back for another x-ray. It looks like a good time for me to start a yoga class and some cross training. I've been wanting to try yoga, I'm thinking it will be good for the body and the soul!
That would be much better if it tendonitis rather than a stress fracture.
The yoga and cross-training sounds like a good idea, maybe you can teach me some of those yoga poses I always hear about like the crouching cat or peeing dog.
Yoga is wonderful. I should say, people either love it or hate it. There are lots of great classes around in Provo. It's worth the time and money to go to a studio. I can't wait to hear if you like it.
Wow look at that soggy photo of you two! Great running you two! I missed seeing either one of you. Hope to see you guys at more. Heal up and never give up!
CONGRATS ON YOUR MARATHON KIM!! I haven't been on the blog much either, and didn't catch your blog until today. But way to go!!! Good luck with the continued recovery... I have to say, yoga is great! It really works those small stabilizer muscles that you never think of until you twist your ankle :) Plans for another marathon yet?
