I started running in the fall of 2007. I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.
Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014. My favorite PRs: 2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22. 2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15
Short-Term Running Goals:
Long-Term Running Goals:
Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.
Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!
On running and on life.....
On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

Personal:
Going to St. George? Bag the hotel and stay in one of our condos instead!
Holy Cow! 68 degrees is hot to run in! I am use to the nice early morning temps but Tom and I decided to get a few extra needed zzzzs this morning. It looks like I had better get out in the heat a bit within the next few weeks or that St. George sunshine is going to bring me to my knees those last tough miles!
Nice job having fun getting done with your run in the sun today hon! (How's THAT for some good rhyming!?)
Coach Tom thinks it's good to spend some time in the sun every now and again, and not just for heat-training purposes.
But Coach Tom also says your day's training is not quite yet complete, you still are required to get a massage tonight. Don't be a slacker. Sorry to be such a slave-driver coach.
Gee, I thought it was just my wimpy Northwestern sun-phobia. It's nice to see someone from a sunny state hating to run in 68F. ;) I think with the abundant water stations (for pouring, not just drinking) will see you through.
OK, so I'm feeling a little wimpy about complaining about 68 degrees. I don't think it is the 68 degrees as much as just having the sun shining down on me. I usually run in the cool morning with the stars and moon. Sixty eight degrees in the morning without the sun and with a breeze feels very different than what I felt yesterday. I will do it more often in honor of all my St. George and Arizona friends....and to help me get use to it for the marathon.
Jody....Congrats on getting into St. George! Yeah! :)
