Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

Today's run was suppose to be 11 miles down Payson Canyon. It has been open since the fire, but for some reason it was closed when we tried to get up there this morning. So our crew of 11 or 12 had to come up with an alternate plan. The plan we ended up with involved much more up hill than we were expecting. But it also gave a some good down hill. We went over and up into Elk Ridge. It was a very invigorating workout. It took a while to change the mental outlook of what we had planned. I guess it's good to have to change things up a bit and see how mentally tough we can be.

Our van broke down yesterday. Today we will find out how big of deal it will be to fix it up. Not sure how much money we want to put into it at this point, but we also don't want to buy a new vehicle yet either. Hmmmm. What to do.......?

Wow...you are doing so well. Every time I check your blog you have done these long or speedy workouts! Keep it up and I really do think you are going to surprise yourself at STGM.

I hate automobile issues. Good job with the running. I enjoy lurking and reading you and your husband's blogs.

The best cars are the ones without car payments. Even a $1,000 repair bill to get you through another year is cheaper than a $300-$400 car payment per month for the same year. I say repair it. But like Paul, I hate car problems and don't trust mechanics. Good luck with it, I hope it goes well. Great job with the run and dealing with the change of venue.

Oh no! There was a fire at beer can flat this morning :( If I'd had half a brain, I would have called you when I heard the pumper truck leave at o'dark hundred. The fire was suspect :( Speaking of fire, I can smell fire, I had better go see what the boys are up to... Looks like they are going to roast marshmallows... mmmmm, must go see if they need help :) (eating them, I mean)

Great run. No wild life?
