Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

I guess I can call my 16 miler fun because I was with Jody and Paula.  It was also fun to have Brent join in with us for a minute.  We were  hoping to see Sylvie but missed her.  We were happy to stop and chat with Leslie and Lisa.  It makes me wonder what other bloggers we may have passed along the way.  That would be a fun place to set up a bloggy run sometime!

I also really liked sprinklers this morning!  The sun was coming down on us pretty good during the last few miles.  I can see some heat training would really serve me well!

Thanks Paula and Jody for rearranging your miles to fit me into your schedule!  Have a great Sunday rest day!

It was so fun to "run" into you on our run!!!! I am all over a Parkway Bloggers run!!! Let's tell Paula to bring the brownies!!!!!! Way to go Kim, I just read your Desert News 10K report, congrats on such an awesome time! Yes, my hubby took a picture of us just after we saw you, Lisa has been having a hard time getting a picture on and so she is stuck with a picture of "us" on her blog! Have a great weekend. We need to Marion down here for our group run and brownies!

How fun to go on a blog run! (Hey, I can rhyme!) Great job getting in 16 miles after a smokin' fast race!

From Brent on Sat, Jul 26, 2008 at 14:55:05

Kim, you three, (Paula and Jody) looked like running royalty, no sweat, just cruseeeeen. All those WOW runs have really paid off. If we meet again on the parkway, do you want to do a BS Rools run? You may think it is fun, or I am crazy.

Stay Kool, keep smiling, B of BS Rools out

Thank you so much for coming up to run with us. You did an awesome job. We'd love to do it again, we will come to you!

Kim, It was fun to meet you and your friends. Now that I've met you in person I'm really in awe - you're in great running shape!! And when we saw you it looked like you were just starting - all fresh and chipper looking, not 10 miles into it. Good job!!

Wow that was great to get out and do and would not of happened without your nudge. Me and Jody will have to come down and to the river bed run with you. Thanks for dragging me along. I will think of you all weekend while my muscles rebel against me! JK

Thanks everyone!

If anyone wants to run a Saturday morning long run down here in redneck country, let me know! It would be great to have y'all down!

From Brent on Sat, Jul 26, 2008 at 22:08:36

The date is not set in stone, Sylvie actually prefers the 18th. We would really like you and Tom be able to come. Let us know what date works.

16 miles! WOW- is that your longest run so far? Very cool!

A FRB run would be ever so cool!
