Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

An easy paced run in some of our usual neighborhoods this morning.  Kind of quiet, I think we may have been sleep running part of the time.  One part felt like a giant road treadmill.  It didn't seem like we were getting anywhere.  But eventually we got home.  Kept it at about 10 minute miles and stayed away from hills.  The leg felt good, just felt like a bruise or something.  I think it will be OK if I don't do something dumb on Saturday at the race to aggravate it again.

Is there a magic spell sometimes that makes the run feel like that. You know like the dreams where you are trying to get to the end of a path or hall and you just cant seem to make it?

Oh I just don't get up any too early in the mornings so I guess that is my punishment. To run in the heat! But it starts to heat up a 7-8 now. I hope to survive the summer! Good luck at your race! You are going awesome!
