Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

Mr. Wind was with Tom and I this morning.  It wasn't too bad down in the river bottoms, but up in town it sure gets ya!  Tom was only doing 4ish this morning.  When I left to get a couple more I went straight into the wind!!!! What was I thinking?  It got a little nippy on those last few miles.  I was glad to get into the nice warm shower.

Now only 2 more days to get the kids going for school.  It's always nice to have a break from schedules.  But I am hoping to keep a little bit of organization in the kid's lives.  The teenage boys think they are going to sleep until 11:00 every morning, but they are WRONG!

Very nice job today - Way to add on!

I love the unstructured summer - my husband hates it.

I think Jody's statement, "I love the unstructured summer - my husband hates it" is a direct quote from my wife Karen.

I miss not seeing my family in the morning before I leave for work, and I don't like going to bed alone with most of the family still up partying. I guess that's what happens when a morning person (me) marries a night owl (Karen). But she's worth it.

I was just trying to negotiate summer schedules with Karen this morning. If I read her correctly, her answer was basically, "Yeah, right." It looks like I'll be switching to a "stay up late, get up early, nap at work" schedule again.

Great job, Kim! I like unstructured every once in a while, for a break, but then I go crazy if there's not some kind of schedule.

Wow- long runs in the rain and tagging on a couple more miles today than your runner hubby. You are a SERIOUS runner now!

You betcha Christi! I AM a serious runner now! And I'm lovin' it! I really want to get into the SGM! I'm still working on it!
