Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

Tom and I ran our 6 mile river bottom route.  It was just a nice, crisp, wind-free morning.  No rats, just cats.  No rain or pain.  Just enjoyable.

Going to help my sister in law paint her bathroom today.  She thinks I know what I'm doing with painting.  We'll see...

Look at you go! What a great year you're having. 30 miles already this week. What's your next race?

Tom and I will be down in Ephraim tomorrow for Scandinavian Days. They have a 5K and 10K with that. I think we are both doing the 5K.

After that I will be doing the Heart of Holladay 5K on June 14th. I am hoping to be able to win my entry into SGM at that one! There are a few runners who will be running in my name to win for me. I hope my odds are good for it! I really want to get in on the marathon! Thanks to everyone who has or will register and put my name as the SG hopeful!

Great miles this week. I am planning on soing Heart of Holladay also. Hopefully I will see you there. If you get done painting and need something to do my kitchen is in the process of painting also. You could put your skills to work at my house.

Paula interestingly enough Kim's sister in law (my sister's) name is also Paula!

Have fun with the painting Kim and Paula (and Paula)!

Good luck tomorrow Kim with the 5k, knock em dead! What is this thing with the Heart of Holladay 5k for you getting into SG? Tom kind of mentioned it, give me some details if there is something I can do to help:-)

I am not so great at writing back- I am sorry. You are so consistent Kim! Way to go. so, did you guys get into STGM this year? Keep up your great work.

From Ally Holt on Sat, May 24, 2008 at 15:11:45

never mind my dumb question about the STGM. I just reread your blog! Good luck, and really hope you get in!

Clay,

The Heart of Holladay 5K is in Holladay on June 14th. It is giving away one guaranteed entrance. I can run for myself, but anyone else running can put my name on also. It ups my odds! I think the main thing is you have to register in advance. There is a place on the registration that says St. George Hopeful. That is where anyone running for me would write the name Kim Lee. I'm really hoping it works in my favor. If you know anyone running it that isn't running with another name on it, please ask them to write mine!!!! BEG...BEG...BEG!!! (And why am I so willing to beg to go run this?)
