Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

Tom and I headed west to do the Leland loop this morning.  Came up through the ballpark trails and through the river bottoms.  It was a very nice morning here in our neck of the woods.  We were able to wear shorts and long sleeve shirts.  Didn't need the under armor.  That feels good.  Starting out was just a bit nippy, but not bad at all.  My kneecaps and ears were the coldest, but running seems to warm things right up and it was about perfect.  I would guess the temps to be in the mid 30s.  Tom continued on for about 7 more without me.

Glad your run went well! You are doing such a great job!

I hope your stake leadership went well! I am always so glad when it is over. My inspiration finally came just after I finished commenting on your blog on Thursday - Nothing like waiting until the last minute.

I am in Stake Primary as well. I am the odd ball as well - we have that in common. I had to speak on Ministering and it was tough - But we take a very Primary approach and it becomes a sharing time - much more my level.

Oh man, still cold. Too bad I can't give you some of our heat--it is already getting a little too toasty.

Great job getting over 10!

Actually not too cold...perfect. I'm a little nervous for the heat to come.
