Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

The last run in Redlands.  Tomorrow I catch a flight back home.  I took my camera with me this morning.  Maybe when I'm home I can add a few to my entry.  I didn't bring the connectors to add them here.  My nice crossgaurd, Larry, chatted with me.  He told me I should have been here last week and I would have seen some snow on the mountains.  Ha ha ha!  I don't need to come here to see snow on the mountains!  He wished me a good flight and told me to come visit again sometime.

Today we are off to cancer doctors, (for my sister in law).  I am glad I could be here for her this week.  Yesterday was the last day of her first cycle of chemotherapy.  I wish I lived closer to her and could help her more through the next 6 months!

So tomorrow when I fly home I really hope I don't freak out.  I do not like to fly.  This will be the first time I have ever flown alone.  Tom teases me about freaking out and then him seeing me on the news as they restrain me on the plane and have police waiting for me at the airport.  Luckily it's only an hour and a half flight.  If the weather is ok I will probably be ok too.  But if I have to come in with turbulance and bad weather I might have to do a little white knuckle on the armrests.  Tom, I promise I will do my best to stay off of the news!

I'll keep an eye on the news headlines, just in case ;)

Looking forward to having you back home again although I known you've done wonders for S & S being there this week and I'm sure they'll miss you. Thanks for doing that!

Hopefully the house hasn't deteriorated too bad. Tonight is family cleanup-home evening!

Good luck on the plane! I too am scared of flying. I had my husband next to me when we went to Forida and I started to cry when we took off. I was about to have a panic attack.

I feel like a fool looking back, its just one of those things. You'll do fine.

A couple of years ago when our family flew to New York just before we were getting ready to take-off Dallas said, when are we going to Blast-off. He was thinking it was going to be like a rocket and he was excited. Anyway I hope Blast-off and re-entry goes well.

Thanks! I made it home safe and sound. Blast off and Re entry were both much smoother than I expected. You don't need to watch the news to see if I have been restrained or anything. Always good to have my feet back on the ground! And very nice to be back home.
