Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

Snow was coming down pretty good when I got laced up and ready to go.  It settled down to just a light snow throughout the run.  Enough to keep the roads covered so I couldn't see where it was slick or uneven.  That was a problem.  I had one really good slip.  It would have been an ugly fall, but luckily it was just an ugly save instead.  Kinda twisted my ankle a bit on that one, but not too bad.  The weather forecast in our area is looking really good for the next several days.  Suppose to be up to the 40s by the weekend.  That sounds like lots of fun to me!

Good job babe! I don't know if I'm tough enough to go outside today or not. Might wimp out and treadmill it. Glad you fall wasn't worse! Hope your ankle is kind to you.

Ohhh! Sorry about the fall.... The one I took up in SLC while we were at the hopital is almost a memory as the skinned knees are just about gone, but a twisted ankle could feel ouchy for a few days to come? (I Hope not!!)

I hope that you are right as far as the weather goes and we see some warmer temps this weekend!!!

Kim, it seems all the WOWs have biffed it or close to it this year, tough year of winter running. Be careful.
