Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

I went from being a Warior of Winter kind of WOW, to a Whinner, (sp?), of Winter kind of WOW and then today I am back to the WARIOR OF WINTER kind of WOW again!  Who knew?  Only yesterday I was celebrating the last day of January, knowing that it must be closer to spring in February.  Then today I had this very enjoyable run with snowflakes that stayed on my nose and eyelashes!  (Brown paper packages tied up in string...these are a few of my favorite things!)  OK,  I know I'm not a good singer so I'll spare ya the rest of the song!  Attitude is everything!  Why can't I get that into my head and just enjoy what I have at the moment?!  I even came home and shoveled the walks and driveways of FOUR houses!  (I hope my back will be blessed for the service, I'm a little nervous to wake up and see what it feels like in the morning.)  I hope you all have a fabulous day!  If you are having a bad day just think of a few of your favorite things.....and then you won't feel soooooooooo bad!  OK, I'm really done singing now!

Cutie! Glad you were able to enjoy your run. I know there are a lot of people on the blog hoping that the groundhog won't see his shadow tomorrow. Soon you guys are going to be in the best training time of the year.

And WHAT?!? You shoveled 4 Driveways? Holy smokes girl!

I was feeling bad today, and so I took your advice and thought about some of my favorite things and my day still Sucks! But I will keep trying.

Wow for the WOW Kim! Aren't you just the jolly rancher today! I like your attitude, I wish I would have read your blog before my dreadmill workout today maybe I would have had a little better attitude. But I'm feeling pretty jolly now that I'm DONE with my workout.

Also way to take care of all the folks in our neighborhood who needed the shoveling. You ROCK!

Lybi: You're right on the groundhog thing....even though I had a great day today I am still looking WAY forward to springtime. Ain't no little groundhog gonna get in my way!

Clay: I am so sorry the favorite thing idea didn't work out for you YET! Don't give up! One of my answers to the question, "how are you doing?" is..."I'm doing great, and I'll have myself convinced of it before I go to bed tonight!" So work on that and return and report!

Tom: I know you love my wonderful mood swings! I can see you hoping this will last! I am doing my best to make sure it does! A little massage after the hard snow shovel workout might help keep the spirits high! (hint, hint)

Kim, Julie Andrews has nothing on you, even if she is a runner, your blog today is filled with the sound of music. Today was not the Pips. It was Kim and the sunshine band, without Casey.

Stay Cool Upbeat, you will have us all singing at the races. B of BS Rools out.

That's one of the few songs I can play on the piano- love it! Glad you explained what a WOW is, I somehow missed that in earlier posts! Nice job today and you will be blessed for being a sweet neighbor!
