Ran the adventure park loop around noon. I'm glad I waited as it was so much nicer than it was earlier this morning (wind and snow).

Miserable morning for a run. The sound of sleet pounding on our window about 4:30 woke us up. Wind was strong throughout the day.

Ran the adventure park loop with Laureen. It was cold starting out (temperature around 25 degrees), but felt very comfortable once we started on the stretch behind the high school and caught the sun.

Ran adventure park loop with Laureen in the morning and then ran 5.5 in the AF Rec Center. About half way through my workout, I passed a young guy that was running laps. He started to speed up a bit, but soon fell back. After that he'd start to speed up as I came up behind him, so each time it got a little harder to pass him. Towards the end of my workout, it was close to an all-out race. It was fun having someone to run with. I talked to him for a few minutes afterwards...a real nice guy. He's planning to run the Salt Lake Marathon in the spring. I'll have to invite him to join the blog if I run into him again.

Ran adventure park loop with Laureen, took the main road shortcut as we needed to get back and help Amelia get ready for school.

Had a great run with Greg W. this morning. The sun came up just after we got started and the temperature was just about perfect. Relaxed pace for the next couple of miles and then pushed it for the next 4.4 (to the top of Canyon Road). Recovered on the downhill and flat and then pushed it a little the last couple of miles. Was happy to find that I was still feeling good after the run without any aches or pains. Averaged 8:07/mile.
