Short-Term Running Goals:

Run twice a day, everyother day. Build mileage to about 60 mi. per week. Find a winter marathon to run.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Find my limits at age 46/47/48...and on and on and on.

Personal:

I am very happily married to a wonderful lady. She is my biggest fan. I have two wonderful kids, 4 great step children, and two step grandsons. I teach Elementary school PE.

Steve and I ran the Kayenta loop. I felt really good and got in a few fast miles. Maybe a little too fast because my last 3 were quite a struggle. 20 mi. at 6:37 ave.

Good run. 6:37 pace for 20 miles is pretty good. Thats like a 2:55 marathon if you guys would have added 6 more miles. Very good for a training run.

Ya the run was good for a trainer. We like this loop because it is a fair course. Equal up and down loop. I would like to get this loop time down to about 6:20-6:25 ave. That should translate into a very fast St. George for me.

great job on your training, if you keep this up you should be scary fast come the sgm. what is your goal time for the marathon?
