| | I have been running a bit more lately but without much to report so I have been skipping the logging part of the routine. However, knowing that there is a half marathon to be completed in March 2010 compels me to get back to more a more regimented schedule.
Yesterday, Teresa and I ran while Kristoffer was in one of his dance lessons so our course was the walkway through Elmer Thomas Park as well as the streets to/from the dance studio.

| | Teresa is finishing up returns for the Oct 15 tax filing deadline so I
had to run alone this evening. Again it was very damp with an
almost constant fog decorating our autumnal landscape. I tried to keep
the pace on the slow side of easy but let my mind wander a bit and
slowed down a bit too much while running through a new neighborhood. I
need to use some of the fancy features of my watch to keep my pace in
the desired range.

0.28 mi in 03:45 (cooling down)
Next run is slated for 5 sloooooow miles so I need to spend time finding new podcasts to fill the time.

| | The training schedule called for a 5 miler today so I was happy to see the sun arrive this morning. It was a gorgeous afternoon for a run so as everyone was driving home we headed to the park.
The schedule asked that we run 1 mile easy, 3 mi at 11:30, and another easy mile as a cool down. We couldn't quite make that but I am happy with the results.

Markers --- 1.00 mi in 12:31 1.00 mi in 11:49 1.00 mi in 11:34 0.52 mi in 06:04 (11:46/mi pace) GI distress required me to stop and walk a bit to avoid problems 1.00 mi in 12:54 0.50 mi in 06:26 (12:52/mi pace)
So while I had to stop to let some stomach issues pass I am happy with the results. Thankfully tomorrow is an "off" day. Probably just 2-3 easy miles.

Today was scheduled for an easy 2 miler. Unfortunately my stomach was a still a bit unsettled so I had to stop and walk a bit.
