Personal:

My wife, Teresa, has stayed by my side for over 21 years and I am a much better person as a result. Kristoffer, our only child, is now 15 and continues to exceed all my expectations. If you look in the dictionary under the word luck you will see my smiling face.

I awoke way too early this morning and to make life more challenging I was very angry. Not the best way to start one's day but I challenged myself to go run hard and work all of the anger out of my system to change my mood. I think it has worked and feel that I can be a better person now.

3.85 mi in 40:15 @ 10:27/mi burning 424 calories with 147bpm HRavg.

Markers ---
1.00 mi in 09:11 130bpm HRavg *This cannot be right
0.52 mi in 04:49 156bpm HRavg (09:00/mi pace)
0.49 mi in 06:01 141bpm HRavg (12:14/mi pace)
0.25 mi in 01:59 144BPM HRavg (08:05/mi pace)
0.74 mi in 09:04 154bpm HRavg (12:16/mi pace)
0.25 mi in 02:01 158bpm HRavg (08:02/mi pace)
0.60 mi in 07:17 157bpm HRavg (12:07/mi pace)

Okay, there is NO way I ran the first mile at anything near 09:11 but I am happy that I managed a total of 1.00 mi among the other intervals at 9:00/mi pace or better. The quads and hams will certainly be complaining today.
