Personal:

My wife, Teresa, has stayed by my side for over 21 years and I am a much better person as a result. Kristoffer, our only child, is now 15 and continues to exceed all my expectations. If you look in the dictionary under the word luck you will see my smiling face.

Summary:
Today demonstrated that I still need to train my mind. I did great through the first mile yet around 1.25 mile I just didn't want to run any more. There was nothing hurting me more than usual and I certainly couldn't complain about the weather. Just after 15 of my planned 25 minutes of jogging I just stopped and walked a bit. For the remaining ten minutes I jogged half a lap and walked half a lap. Finished by walking the rest of the distance. Teresa said I was being too hard on myself because I was feeling very frustrated at my performance today. And while I know she is right I am reluctant to give up anything I feel has been accomplished recently.

Some day's you're on, some you're off. Throw this one away and don't think about it again....not worth it! And at least you went out and did it, even if you didn't feel like it. That certainly still counts.

It's just one day, you'll be back out there hitting 3mi very soon! I know it must be hard though when you can see amazing progress every day, then you feel like you've gone backwards. Just think about how the 27 year old guy is still eating your dust?!
