My wife, Teresa, has stayed by my side for over 21 years and I am a much better person as a result. Kristoffer, our only child, is now 15 and continues to exceed all my expectations. If you look in the dictionary under the word luck you will see my smiling face.

So I met my goal of 4.0 miles today and then tacked on another half for fun. It was toasty in the sun even at 8:18am with a heat index of 81F. The wind blowing at 20-30mph from the south was refreshing when it was in my face but I still had a hard time shedding some of the heat that got built up so at 3 miles I took off the shirt.

Tomorrow's goal is 3 miles.

Hey, I don't now if you realized this, but if you call this your "long run" for the week, you can cross off one of your "Short-Term Running Goals"! YEAH for you!!!!!!! It always feels good to get a goal crossed off!

Oh, I just realized you had that as your "April" goal, nevertheless, you are doing great, you were at 5.54 today, your increasing! Keep it up!
