I am back in the saddle, ready to roll!! I got up this morning to run with the Heidi's for our traditional 5 mile square (we are doing the "new leaf 6.5 mile route Wednesday). It was weird because I was in the middle of a weird dream when my alarm went off and woke me up, so I just had a weird feeling to start. But as soon as I was up, I was ready to roll! It felt really good to get out and run, especially when the sun started coming up and there was no snow or rain to go with it, YEAH!! And, I just love running with these girls! I am sure they get so sick of me talking, but I sure do enjoy running with them! I am excited to go again Wednesday and to start putting some more miles in then I have the past few weeks! YEAH!

| | I have decided I am a conditional runner. I must be hard to please. Yesterday morning I was singing praises because I got to run in nice weather, no rain or snow, etc. and tonight, I was praying for rain or snow, WHOA it was HOT!!!! Granted I didn't leave my house to go run until 5:00pm so the sun was starting to get low and when I was on my way back, it was right in my face. I was glad I got out to run at all tonight but I am going to admit, it was hard and pretty much wiped me out. Oh well, I got to run today, I am happy about that. However, I did leave my watch home so I am not sure on my pace, but I estimate it to be about 8:30-8:45 or so. |

| | Someone must love me because tonight was perfect conditions for running!! I am not all that picky, I just prefer it to be day light, over cast, a slight chill in the air, birds chirping, and not many cars on the road and tonight was JUST THAT~!~ I got home from running kids to piano lessons and soccer games, got dinner in the oven and ran out the door to get some miles in before the rest of the night took it's course. Again, it was perfect outside and I felt SO MUCH BETTER then I did last night!! I just did the 5 mile square adding on just a bit during the course. I really wanted to go longer but I needed to get home to finalize dinner and get my family fed, so I compromised a bit. I am looking forward to meeting with the Heidi's tomorrow morning for the "New Leaf" route that will get me 6.5 miles in for the day!!~ Splits: 7:53, 7:25, 8:03, 7:45, 7:36, 7:33(last .25) Avg. pace = 7:51, Hooray!!

| | So, it's 9:45pm and I am just walking in from a late night run!! I was supposed to go this morning but woke up to wind and rain so I opted for a change of plans. So, I just did some push ups and sit ups and then started my day from there. However, the weather later on, and the stress from a crazy day made me want to get out tonight so I called Heidi W and she came along. We just ran the 5 mile square with a little .3 mile walk in the middle. We both had a late dinner so our food wasn't sitting right and we both suffered a little during our run. However, I was surprised when I checked my watch and we averaged a 8:30 overall, I felt like we were going much slower than that. So, now I am off to shower and get to bed so that I can get up in 8 hours to go again! Yipee!!
