AM- 2.5 miles just to get the legs going felt good, but I slept terrible...woke up at 4:30 and only could half sleep after that.
PM- RACE. Did mediocre in my opinion. Yeah I was by the people I have been all year, but I looked at my pace and its 5:32/mile and I've run that in mile tempo workouts...heck I've run faster. I am determined to be fully committed now. None of this half stuff I've been doing. I haven't really raced yet...just tempoed really. And I am going to go through the pain and just DO IT! I'm sick of waiting for my break through race. I am going to make it happen! |
