RACE- well, I started out really well...basically right with michael as we hit mile 1.  Mike then amped up the pace and I freaked out mentally.  I think I race better when I remove my emotions and just race.  Also, I think I could have kept up at least another mile so next race I think I'll try to stick with JJ (that's for you byron) for the first and second mile and go from there.  I was just really tight and tired from a rough week.  I'm going to bounce back next week and do even better!  I felt I finished well...I think the times may be a little off but that's just me...

Goal next week:  Stick with michael during workouts for at least most of it, then really keep close to him.

Thoughts: Sometimes I think that something is going to click instantly and I am going to kill it in a race.  I am going to do amazing in a race then the workouts are going to get better.  Well, I realized it's a slow progression and that I need to work on my workouts and the results will follow.

Casey in my opinion you ran like a beast! You did really great! You raced it smart! Keep working hard! You are doing great! And we are doing great as a team!

WOW! Don't say a race went bad when you beat me, It makes me feel bad. But yeah definitely me and you should try to stick with Mike the first 2 miles and see what happens, it doesn't hurt to try. Plus I think mike and Jason were up to something that meet, Mike, if your reading this... I don't trust you, no I'm just kidding :) But anyways good race, I had fun!

Haha thanks nephi! Ya, well mike is gone for SUU so maybe we will push eachother for the win there ;) anyway, it was nice to have you pushing behind me...because I really wanted to slow down that last mile but didn't want to fall behind you! Thanks everyone!
