3 miles warm up. Had a hard time sleeping last night but as I warmed up I felt fine.  I was positive before the race

RACE- I started out behind everyone practically (I am not elite person) and I started out well I guess.  The first mile I was passing people pretty well, but didn't want to go too crazy and die.  The next mile was the crappiest.  I got cut off on the switchbacks at the beginning and lost all my momentum and really it lost my momentum for most of the race.  The last mile I just wasn't amazing, just held my positition, but really I wasn't in a great spot.

I just wish I could've had a better end to my high school xc career.  It would've been awesome to end it well, but it kinda summed up my whole season- did well compared to most people, but way underperformed.  I think I just need to find the things that need to be fixed and then actually fix them (obviously I'm not gonna just change my running, just tweek them) and then I just need to keep running workout well and stay with mike and I think track could be different.  I really hope so.  I really am thankful for all that xc has done for me...this team has really been the friends I probably would've never made, because I was too shy, but it gave me people to talk to and be friends with.  They also have been really the only people outside my family that are constantly happy people in my life...cause you know when you go to xc that a good ol' joke will be thrown out that you can give a good hearty laugh to!  I wish I could've given you guys more than I did, because you guys really deserve it!  XC 4EVER!
