Am- 3 miles E. I woke up late so nice easy by myself. PM- 12 miles w/ 20 min tempo @5:40 pace. We ran six miles then started our tempo. I started running and it felt too slow... It was too slow so I sped up and just kept it but mike and byron weren't feeling good so I just kept going at the same pace. It was hard to keep pace by myself. I did though cause we guesstimated my distance based on mikes distance and I calculated it and I got 5:37-5:42!! Not bad for a solo tempo when my legs were tight!! Overall- I was super impressed! I think this was a super confidence booster because I did it without mike or coach to push me! I hav really perfected how to keep myself calm myself mentally! I am sorta glad I got the opportunity to run this! |
