Went out to river trail and went 9 miles w/18 min tempo at 5:36 pace. I was feeling the fatigue from my trip and mostly all the junk and stuff I ate (mostly cause I switched from high carb diet to high in protein, but switching back felt good today). We started our tempo and I felt fine the first mile, just sticking behind mike and able. Then, the next mile was about the same. The half mile is when the fatigue and stuff hit me and I started to get out of the groove I had been in. I fell off the pack a bit, but then I got back up right on coaches shoulder like he told me, but only for a few seconds cause then I fell off again but not as far maybe a few feet. I caught up by the end though. I thought this was a good workout considering how tired I was and if I can stay in there when I'm this tired I can do it any other day. |
