AM- 3 easy. Felt really good this morning because I took care of my legs yesterday.  Rolled and stretched afterwards.

PM- 7 w/striders (8mi. total).  It was really hot today or at least it felt like it.  I really decided this week end that I have been underperforming, not performing bad just not to my best ability, because the whole race I think that I shouldn't go out too fast or I'll die out and it's not until the last 1/2 mile or so until I realize I've been racing slower than my fastest.  So, my new moto for running is fearless...not stupidness to run out like a crazy man, but not holding back.  I heard a rock song sing "balls to the wall!" and it reminded of Byron and how at region he really went balls to the wall and nailed it.  I also thought about it...what do I have to lose? It's my senior year and I want to find my limits...which I have yet to find...so I'm going to find it!  This whole run I just kept telling myself I was a champion and stuff like that and shortened my stride a bit and it was awesome!  Weights and plyos after then my own upper body workout with core exercises!

Casey! I love that you name the exact quote that Byron says,"Balls to the walls!"

I don't know if that is school appropriate!
