Today was suppose to be a 4.5 mile run with tomorrow being a 4 mile race pace run. After I run tomorrow I am going to lift and do a spin class so today I wanted to do my race pace. I know that this will make two hard training days in a row but I wanted to try. Here are my splits 8:17, 8:29, 8:53, 8:39, 8:51 I needed 8:30 miles to be race pace so I didn't quite make it. I think I went out to fast and then couldn't hold it all the way to the end. After I ran I shoveled the drive way and now my back hurts I guess I should have got out the snow blower. |
