Ten easy miles today with running group.  I ran the first 6.4 with a girl who said she wanted to run 10 minute mile pace.  It was a recovery run so I thought the pace would be good.  I think I pushed her a little to hard though, when I looked at the splits only one mile was at 10 min mile pace and that was up hill.  She didn't seem to complain but then I am not sure I stopped talking long enough for her to.

Splits: 9:49, 9:45, 10:28, 9:41, 9:23, 9:24, 9:23, 9:20, 9:32, 9:42

felt really good after the run. legs are not as sore but arms and back still are.

I am now helping my 15 year old with her birthday party and then the big game is tonight I am tempted to paint my fingernails blue, but hubby said they lost last time I did that so I better not jinx them.

Still 6 minutes to go but I'm going to guess that you painted your nails blue. Sorry to see it happen (only not really).

Kathie,

You are brutal!! Poor girl!! :)

6 minutes in the game left, for your sake I hope they can pull off some miracle of miracles. If not ... sorry!

Nice run today!

Andy and I must have posted at the same time!

3 minutes left, are we seeing the stirrings of a miracle?

From Teena on Sat, Dec 20, 2008 at 23:52:17

Sorry Kathie.

Yes Teena I am having a great week end! I have my son home from college. We are trying to spend as much time together as a family as we can. I noticed the other day that this will be the last Christmas that we will be together as a family (with missions and all) How sad I want to stop time and not let them grow up!

Hi Kathie-

I'm getting a kick out of reading your comments from others regarding our run. The run was great and I didn't feel pushed at all. I simply don't do hills well (which are unavoidable in Utah esp. Bountiful). Thanks for slowing down a bit for me. I look forward to running with you again. I won't be there this Sat. as we are busy with the holiday. Not sore today...so that is good! :)

Merry Christmas!

Great run and pushing the pace. Even the hills you hit it great. Looks like we know who to put for runner 10 this year at Ragnar.:) Looking good.
