So are the pullups getting easier? Running and spin class, now you just need to throw in some swimming and you'll be ready for a triathlon soon.

Oh no I tried to swim and I sink like a rock and I didn't enjoy it at all. My hubby who was on the swim team in high scool tried to teach me but even he... the man who loves me the most gave up... I am a lost cause.

Kathie....

I'm in the same boat with swimming. I can't keep my head above water and I panic. I'd really like to learn how to swim someday.

Dale and Kathie -- me three, I sink (not stink, altho I do stink at learning to swim). I am petrified of drowning.

From Kathie on Thu, Dec 04, 2008 at 17:59:12

Smooth when I first read your post I thought it said you were "perfect" at drowning!

LOL I went and tried to swim with a Tri coach last yr after my first marathon. And I found out that I to am a ZERO at swimming. But for 650 dollars he would teach me. But it was going to be alot of work. So I am sticking with running till I get to Boston then I will work on my swimming. Hey we can do the spud one. That one you can just float down the river.:)

Lotsa Love!
