Race pace miles today I did them on the treadmill 1% incline .5 mile warm up at 10:00 and then 4.5 at 8:34 (7.0)  I really had to talk myself into the last mile but I did it.  I just remember how bad I felt when I quit on Monday and that kept me going.

AWESOME!!

Happy New Year to you and your family.

You really are going to do so great at Painters! I think the "not quitting" aspect at the end of a training run is the best training of all. You are so ready!!

I'm so glad you kept going. It's a "mind game", isn't it. It will pay off come race day.

Geez, every time I read your blog these days you are logging a high quality run. Great job!! Can't wait to read your report for Painters.
