5 miles today the weather was great I ran in new running pants and the kept me very warm.

splits: 8:45, 8:32, 8:44, 8:29, 8:38

The pace was not that much slower than yesterday but I felt much better doing it.  I think on the treadmill because the terrain doesn't change I use the same muscles all the time and I get tired faster. It could be just that I get board faster.

It's probably the boredom. LOL. Great run. The weather is so nice out right now. I wish it was always like this.

Nice run Kathie, It is a beautiful day for a run. A little bit of winter sunshine sure makes the miles pass quicker and the pace easier to keep.

Great run and new pants too. Cant beat that.

Good job! I was thinking the same thing up at Solitude today: a perfect winter running day. But had to settle for the treadmill after dinner. Running on full tummy was not only boring but slogging.

You've been running some awesome pace. Are you seeing the "break through"?
