4.5 miles with 1% incline one mile warm up and then three miles at 8:27 pace (7.1) I think this is a tempo run or it is as close as I will ever get.  I wanted one more mile but just couldn't seem to talk myself into staying on the treadmill.

lifted for back. calfs and walking lunges with 8 pound ball

Gravitron 3 @ 90 pounds 5@ 100 Pull-ups .5 yes that is right I moved today it was more like .3 but I am going to round up just to scare you all with my tremendous progress... so are you scared?

Here is a picture of what I have to do my pull-ups on

LOL I love the rounding up thing. I'd say that was a tempo run as long as that was around or a little faster than 1/2 marathon pace for you. Great workout.

LOL that is awesome progress. You are definitely moving in the right direction. Great job on your tempo run too.

WOW 8:27 half-marathon pace!!! You're gonna kick some major trash at Painter's.

OK, rounding up your .5 really scares me. I have a question. Was that pull up on an irongym bar thingie that Teena and Andy use? I finally got one and put it up Sunday night. And you know what? I can't even get the top of my head to the bar. I HATE competition and pull up STINKS!!! My hubby and son love that bar so I guess I'm not taking it back to Walgreens.

dont have the bar like you and Teena I have a roman chair it looks like this... I can't get the picture to come in sorry.

From Smooth on Tue, Dec 16, 2008 at 15:49:22

I guess there's not a rule on what type of bar we use, right? Hmm, I like my playground monkey bar better.

Nice those are great for all sorts of stuff Kathie. I love doing dips on those. And great for like leg lifts for your lower abs. I need to get me one of those.

From DonGardinero on Tue, Dec 16, 2008 at 22:13:21

I'd say that was a tempo run, Speedy. Way to go

Do you sit on it while working out? It's called Roman CHAIR after all.

Kathie,

You always make me laugh!! You are going to nail a pullup very very very soon.

(nice run too)
