Nice easy run with Ash on her bike.  It was a blue shirt day.  The last two times we've gone running, we ended up with the same color shirts, and then the other runners we've seen also had on the same color...so I've got her convinced that runners plan out what color shirts to wear, and everyone knows which color it is each day.  We stopped at her school to see her teacher; school starts next week, and she is very excited.

No pain in the tibia today, but I know it's lingering there right under the surface.  I need to get some of the miles in on the grass or trails just to soften things up.  Does anyone have recommendations on compression sleeves?  My legs are tiny...

time to visit the teachers already? ah, it's a fun time of year.

i like the CEP sleeves a lot. they have been well worth the investment for me.

I bought a pair of compression socks from a medical supply company. I sometimes sleep in them and I've done a few short runs in them. I'm going from memory here but I think for sport you should be in the 30mmHG compression. That's some kine of pressure measurement involving mercury. Mine are something like 30 or 40. I know very little about this but I can tell you they are a struggle to put on and they squeeze the heck out of you. It seems like you will pay about half as much if you go the old lady medical sock route instead of a "sport compression sleeve". I like mine, they feel great and I think they help.

Thanks for the input, Allie and Mike. I've got some sleeves on the way--they should be in time for a long run on Saturday.

Tell me how you like running with your sleeves because I hate wearing mine while I run. I have the CEP brand and like them a lot. Maybe I should give them another try on a run. Some of my fast running friends wear them in their races and love them.
