Jack got a little fussy around 5:30.  I had the alarm set for an hour later, but figured I might as well let someone sleep a little longer.  I got him all swaddled, and put a towel around his head to give him some stability, and we set off.  He looked around with the hiccups for the first couple miles, then fell asleep.  The road is smoother than the sidewalk.  I got home and immediately my other running partner was mad at me because SHE wanted to go with Jack.  It was great to get out early in the day while it's cool.  Lots of walkers, bikers and runners were trying to see the baby.

You have a new baby! Congratulations! Little Jack. That's awesome.

You asked a while ago what races I've got coming up. I've got the LOTOJA on Sep 10th and then St. George. I see you are considering TOU. I'd like to try that one sometime. I need to start running downhill to get ready for St. George! Actually I just need to start running again. I'm having too much fun on the bike!

I didn't know that little Jack had arrived. Congratulations to you and your wife.

Thanks, Reed and Andy. It's good to have him here and doing well. Tami did a great job, and is recovering nicely.
