I got to bed so early last night that I woke up with enough time for a 5-spot before work.  The slow miles are trying to get faster.

Lately I'm watching FNL.  When I can do six miles in an episode, I'll be ready for marathon training.  I'm having second thoughts about Skyline Trail Marathon.  It's gonna get hot...

Group run, Saturday 7:30 a.m. @ Pages Lane Trailhead of LPT.  10ish miles, easy pace.  Come one, come all.  There's a lot of roadkill, and the dump is taking on a lovely stank.

I love the word STANK. Not sure why. It's just so stanky!! :)

Hope you are having a great week. :)

Hey I need your expert advice. I'm looking for a good marathon racing shoe. I'm a neutral runner. I was looking at getting saucony mirage or fast twitch 5's but not sure if either are for neutral runners. What would you recommend? No way to racing flats for that marathon again this time.

I run in the mirage. In the continuum of trainers to flats, they are in the middle, more toward the flats. They have pretty reasonable cushioning, but are still quite light.

With all the downhill, you'll be glad of the extra soft ride...

Stank is a good word. Like when you get your stank on after a long run or workout or day in the yard.
