I awoke around 5, and slept again till 6.  Got up for some oatmeal and left on the coolest temp run in weeks.  I ran to JP and did laps barefoot in the grass.  After a few, I ran down to the public park for a drink and lap, then back to JP to finish, then home.  It felt strange to have shoes on after 6 miles of barefoot.  I don't have any insightful analysis.

On a separate note, I got one guy to flip me off while driving to work.  It made my day.

Sounds like a great run and a fantastic drive to work.

On another separate note, as you know I'm captaining a team for the Grand Teton Relay in August and most of us have never done a relay. What are some things you'd recommend each runner should have and that each vehicle should have? Things you've either used, wished you use, or saw others use?

Good job giving that gentleman a chance to release some of the frustration he's experiencing in his life. It's an important service we provide to the sedentary community.

I love the feeling of running in shoes after some barefoot running. My feet feel all loosened up and fresh. It's quite a contrast.

6 miles barefoot, that's a mighty long pull. Good work.
