Home from my mom's after Sunday dinner with 4/5 sisters.  It was a bit cold.  I scared a flock of deer on the golf course.  Cars seemed to be driving quite rapidly for a Sunday night.

I realized today I can't run SGM to qualify for Boston in 2015.  I guess it's going to have to happen at UVM or Desnews.  I'm not wild about UVM, other than the extra shirt.  Maybe I'll target Desnews, but as poorly as I've been running lately, I kind of want a backup marathon before the qualifying window closes.

UVM is a much easier course than Des News. I think Big Cottenwood is earlier enough to qualify so you could always go for that quad thrasher is necessary. Then you will have 3 chances. :)

Big cottonwood is the day before the window closes. I need to get back on track. Maybe printing a marathon plan for the first time in a couple years will help. One vote for UVM, then.

Some other options might include the Mesa Falls Marathon in Ashton, ID on August 23rd; Salmon Marathon in Salmon, ID on September 6th. Neither of them say they're Boston qualifiers, but both say they are certified which should be the same thing.

I would do UVM with Big Cottonwood as a backup. Even with the course change, Big Cottonwood is the fastest marathon in Utah.

Go big or go home with Big Cottonwood. Plus, we need you training again.

Aw dang im sad you can't do St. George this year. It will be my first marathon without you. I have decided its time to move on from hunstville and do st George for sure this year. You can do it at UV. What is the time you have to get?

Ang, I may be able to do St. George, but I gotta get one in under 3:15 (3:12 to be safe) before mid-september so I can register. St. George is a two weeks too late. You left me in your wake last year; I don't know if I'll ever be able to keep up with you again. :)
