Amazing, beautiful run in Vail, along the Eagle River.  Cold, water, leaves, needles, high-end real estate.  (one of these things is not like the other)

Most of those multi-million dollar homes are empty this time of year.

If you were running in the town of Vail, that is actually Gore Creek. If you were west of the Minturn cutoff, then it's the Eagle River. Either way, the bike path along the water is awesome. Is there much snow there yet?

Jake, you caught me in a trap of ignorance. Indeed, it was the gore creek trail. No snow yet in Vail. We did see a little snow on northern exposures on a hike to some waterfall.

The colors in the riparian zones along Eagle, Colorado and White rivers were amazing, but fading fast.

Late for fall colors, early for snow.

I was hoping you meant the Gore Creek trail b/c that is really a great run so I'm glad you got to do it.
