I slowed everybody down today at tempo tuesday. Even so, 9 miles is pretty good.

sorry i missed this. i actually did see it in my email but for some reason i thought you posted this on jake's blog (because it came in the same email thread)...yeah. still learning the ropes here at FRB.
we missed you this morning but we reminisced about that time we sat in the river to clean our shoes (or cool off, i can't remember).

crap. i stayed up till 11 checking my email every 2 minutes. I had my son on standby at the fax machine as well. My daughter went to western union to await a telegraph. After watching John Adams, interrupted by a fantastic thunderstorm, we finally went to bed.
Cool off was the primary purpose, clean the shoes was a pleasant side benefit. Not much water in the stream, though.
