It was a nice, easy run around family housing and a good start to the week. I'm just trying to be consistent and slowly build miles, so I can have a good base later in the year. I don't have specific mileage goals right now, but I'd like to get above 1500 at least, and more would be nice. The key for me will be to not have too many gaps, which have been coming at the beginning and end of the year. I think if I can get my miles more consistent, I could easily go under 3:00 in the marathon and could go under 2:50 pretty realistically. Last year I was on pace for under 3 hours through 17-18 miles then I had a sharp pain in my knee. It was strange since it hasn't hurt since, but my training wasn't fantastic for most of the year last year, so if I can be better this year, I think I'll be in a better position to go faster.

| We went on an out and back to one of the big clocks around town. Joshua wanted to go see the circle clock, so that's what we did. |

I ran down to the baseball complex and ran around on the grass there. It's been a pretty good week, and with some sort of run tomorrow, I'm really happy at this point (much better than last January).

| I went with the boys in the stroller out to Canyon Crest shopping area to see the circle clock, we listened to some violin music playing there, then came back home. It's been a pretty solid week, especially compared to last year at this time. |
