I met the group at Riverton High. I got there a little early and ran around the parking lot for about 6 minutes. Then I did the early miles with the group before we headed over to the track. The plan was 8 x 800's. I seriously don't know what my problem is, but I have not been able to run 800's anywhere near where I used to 2 years ago. I hope that is not an indication of what is going to happen in the marathon. The first 5 x 800's were 3:41, 3:40, 3:38, 3:39, and 3:32. I quit hitting my lap button after that. I'm just frustrated. I cooled down until I hit 10 miles. |
