I started at the trail head, but ran on the street. I ran the first 3 miles as a warm up and then a 3 mile tempo. I started the tempo on a steep hill, so the first mile was a little slower. Once I got back to the trail, I did several one minute pick-ups. I wanted to run 10 today, but stomach was feeling off from flax seed muffin in a mug I had for dinner the night before. I won't be making that again. I still have heartburn. No fun. My splits were 9:46, 8:37, 8:40, 8:22, 7:50, 7:36, 8:10, 8:31 and 7:42. Average pace 8:22.
