I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible. Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it! |

Went to the rec center early and did 40 mins on the spin bike - climbing workout then swam 14 laps
Later I took my son in the jogger, starting out I felt like I was pushing 100 pounds up a steep hill with the brakes on, man I was tired. But I felt better once I warmed up. Felt great runnning down the canyon.

Ran with Cheryl and Debbie, we went from Cheryls house and got on the canal and went out and back. When we started out the weather looked threatening but not bad, after about 5 mins. it was hailing so hard I have bruises on my legs from it. Then it started thundering and raining, then the wind and the mud, the back of my legs were covered. Oh my goodness! But all in all it was a good run.

Got up this morning at went to the rec center and did 40 mins. on the spin bike-climbing repeats. Then swam 12 laps.

Ran from Wills up the path to 2.5 (24 and change) and back (19 and change) I like to see how much faster I can run down the path then up. Had Gauge in the jogger. Started at a 9:47 pace and ended with a 7:38. Good run.

| Went to the rec center and ran 2 miles on the treadmill. Did this so I can start getting use to running 6 days but didn't want to do to much because I want to run 10 miles and I don't want to many miles. Then did 30 mins on the elliptical. | Comments(2) |

Had a great run this morning, meet up with Michelle and Tom and some other from SF. We ran in the SF river bottoms, alot of the 1/2 marathon course. Felt great, pace didn't feel to bad once I got warmed up. Was able to hold coversations, I probably talked way to much. But it was great to run with people. Truley enjoyed myself.
Ran 6 days this week. Next week I think I'll go for 40-45 miles depending on how I feel. My body seemed to handle this week just fine. | Add Comment |
