Super sore today, I haven't been this sore for a long time. This week will be a recovery week, I am not going to even say what mileage I want because I don't even want to get out of bed in the morning a waddle through a run. So what ever I end up with is fine with me. | Add Comment |

Got up and waddled through a very easy 7 miles. Quads are what I noticed to be the most sore. After about a miles they didn't feel so bad until I hit some steep downhill. OUCH!

| Got up and did an easy 8 miles by myself. Took the dog for 1.5 at the end. Felt alot better than yesterday, got a massage and think that helped work stuff out of the legs. Still slow and tired though. wr(390.3) | Add Comment |

Legs felt better this morning, still tired though. Met Luz at Will's and went up towards the canyon. We where both tired so just an easy run.

Before I ran Bryce I was going to run des news 10k but had not signed up for it. After I ran Bryce I didn't want to do the steep down hill that is in Des news. I really didn't plan on racing at all today, I had no babysitter so I thought it was out of the question. Then at 10 last night my sister said she would come over and sit in the morning. I would have like to have done Des news but they don't do same day reg. so I decided to do Speedy sp. 10k.
I really didn't know how I would feel I just thought I wanted a good tempo run. First 2 I was tired plus they are up hill, then the coarse goes through the SF river bottoms, which is a gradual down with some little rollers. I think the race went well, I felt better the further I went. Warmed up with Kent for 1.2 miles
1-7:09 slow start it starts on a norrow street and has some steep up hill.
2-6:41
3-6:33 Starting to feel better and passing lots of people
4-6:42
5-6:51 I always seem to struggle here in races but just want sub 7
6-6:45 regroup and focus for the finish.
.2-1:20
Ran the course backward minus the first mile with Kent and his friend. Was dragging the whole way. Over all happy with the race, feel like it was alittle redeption from the 4th. Pr in this race:)

Super easy 4.5, could only run that far because if I ran more I will end up with to many miles for the week. Legs didn't feel to bad once they got warmed up.

Tired, tired, tired, tired, tired, tired, tired, I haven't been this tired in a long time. I think it was a combanation of 2 races back to back and lack of sleep. I worked in park city last night and didn't get home until around midnight (on the way home I saw Brail Veil falls all up in flames, very sad:( ). I got up at 4:15 to meet Michelle at 5am. I was dragging the whole run. I recuruted a new girl to come with us named Merri, she stuck with is for the first 15 and did very well. I had a very hard time on any uphill we had. Very tired in my breathing and upper body as well as leg fatigue. Last couple of miles where a death march all by myself, until Michelle and Hal came back to run me in. What nice people I run with.
Iced legs
